Missionaries We support
Redeemer was planted by this Network, and we are now members of it.
In 1998 the Southwest Church Planting Network (PCA) was formed to make expanding the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, a high priority in the Southwest. The Network is a Joint Subcommittee of four Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) Presbyteries – North Texas, South Texas, Houston Metro, and Southwest. Together we represent the great Southwest: Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Already this pioneering ministry on the frontier of the PCA includes 49 churches representing over 14,000 members voluntarily coming together to fulfill our vision and mission. In the providence of God, this area is experiencing the kind of growth that calls for increased efforts in the fields that are ready for harvest. This area includes 4 of the 5 fastest growing cities of over a million in population.
It is our vision to plant more than 50 new churches and initiate RUF ministries at all of the major colleges in the Southwest by the year 2020.
Officially, you could say that RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) is a Christian student organization at the University of Oklahoma. But that doesn't say too much. We're a community of OU students who seek to: know Jesus Christ, know Him better through understanding and committing to the Bible, praise Him in all we say and do, share that love with others who don't know Him, love each other, the world and His church.

LPC exists to participate in the restoration of the Mississippi Gulf Coast through the declaration and demonstration of the love of God shown to us in Christ Jesus. The engine of LPC has two cylinders: declaration and demonstration. We are committed to teaching the truth and accompanying that declaration with the unassailable apologetic of life. We seek to live the Gospel in such a profound way that the theology of the Gospel makes sense because it has been seen in our lives! Everything that is done will filter through this mission: if it embodies BOTH declaration AND demonstration then and only then can that program, idea, ministry or outreach be considered!
Hope Presbyterian Church exists to worship and serve the Triune God by connecting people to Jesus Christ and to one another with the hope of seeing His joy and peace extend to Portland and beyond.
Serving Christ – Reaching Portland Values:
Worship - gospel simplicity
Community – life together
Mission - outward facing
Kingdom – holistic Spirituality
In a world that is constantly changing, it is comforting to know that there is a hand always willing and able to reach out to help others. In times of crisis, moments of need, when people have nowhere else to turn, we are there. Helping hands bring a balance to lives, warmth to families and a smile to children’s faces. Bixby Community Outreach Center (BCOC) helps by offering information and referrals, financial assistance for rent, utilities, prescriptions and gasoline. We also help with food and clothing, job counseling and more. And, for those who are ready to offer a helping hand to others, come to the BCOC and join a team of volunteers who support their friends and neighbors.
RUF brings to the campus a heart for God, a love for the campus and convictions that are well formed, deeply held and which allow us to bring a fully-orbed ministry to students. As a ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America, we reflect the historic positions of the Church which include: AUTHORITY The full authority, inspiration and inerrancy of the Bible. The Scriptures being the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also hold to the sufficiency of the Bible, that all we need to know for life and godliness is found in it. NECESSITY The necessity of new life in Jesus Christ. Only those belonging to Christ have any hope for this life and the next. TASK The task of the Church is the "gathering and perfecting of the saints." That is to evangelize the nations, and to strengthen the faith and life of Christians through the means by which God has appointed.
Our church exists to worship Christ as King A Biblical Church: Since the Scriptures are the very word of God, it alone informs us concerning how we may worship Christ as King. And the Scriptures alone are a sufficient guide in all matters of faith and practice. And so the foundational mark of our church is solid biblical preaching and the application of Scripture to our day to day lives. An Evangelical Church: It is our aim that we reach a lost and dying world for Jesus Christ. To proclaim him as King in all that we do. A Shepherding Church: Our church takes seriously the command to shepherd God's flock (1 Peter 5:2). Our leadership will endeavor to shepherd the church by visiting people in their homes and knowing their struggles. It is important that the church members see and feel a connection with the leadership of this church. A Biblical Community: It is important that we be a community of people who help on another grow in grace. The church must create the opportunities for true Christian fellowship to take place.
